GSOH

This song lyric is taken from the show ‘Nothing But The Ruth.’ Script, music and lyrics by Andrew Whelan. First presented at the Bridewell Theatre, directed by Lotte Buchan, it then had a successful run at the Edinburgh Festival and transferred to the Kings Head, Islington with a run at the Greenwich Theatre, both directed by Joe Harmston.

I’m looking for someone, who likes to go walking, who likes aeroplanes and Astaire.

Tall, understanding and not too demanding. Kindly and thoughtful and fair.

For laughs and companionship, travel and music. Tidy, fun-loving and free.

Forty to forty-five, sporty yet dignified. More ‘Tour de France’ than ‘Torquay.’

Warm and creative, polite and attractive, affectionate, honest, inspired.

Someone to eat with, hold hands in the street with, Good Sense Of Humour required.

I’m short and brunette, I love ‘Jean de Florette’, jazz, jacuzzis and Christopher Lee.

I’m fit and quite active, don’t feel that attractive but I’d like someone who’d disagree.

I’ve got my own place, I’ve got far too much space. I’m a Pisces, I stare at the moon.

Not terribly flirty, some way beyond thirty, won’t somebody write to me soon.

I’m tired of sleeping diagonally. I’m aching to be desired.

Non-smoking, articulate gentleman. Good Sense Of Humour required.

Cooking for one is so boring you see. I’m tired of talking to my TV.

I know there’s someone… but where is he?

Good Sense of Humour….required.
